Okay, so I was at a local thrift shop (they always get the weirdest and coolest things!!) yesterday and came across the coooooooolest 1960s/1970s camera bag. This bag is a perfect tanned leather with the most amazing tooled designs! It has a native American with an eagle head dress on at the top of the bag. It has some other really cool tooled designs as well. I have decided to keep it because it's something I just can't part with, not to mention I will never find another like it. Infact, I always imagined finding something like it, but I had no idea one could be that amazing and perfect. Sometimes I get so excited about finding these sorts of things. It's like finding a pile of cash or gold to me (well, I guess cash or gold would be nicer). I also found the coolest fringe western boots at the same thrift store that are my size! Again, those are mine and I can't part with them. The two items seem to go so well together, but I kind of doubt they were donated by the same person. Oh, how I'm really digging tanned leather and western/native American/bohemian styles lately!!

Lately, I have found myself watching shows like the Twilight Zone and old Hitchcook films. I find it amusing that I'm always examining what the women are wearing and how I wish I could have their cool dresses. My boyfriend laughs at me when I do this. Maybe I am too in love with such things (cool old dresses). Of course I love the show and those old movies, too! Maybe I need consoling for obsessive old dress disorder.:p



Anyhow, I move in about 2 1/2 months! I really need to downsize my load and get rid of all these things I keep collecting. I can't wait to be able to decorate my own place with old 70s art along with some cool etsy artwork, too!

it's been awhile

I have to confess I haven't really been updating this. Maybe I should be. I've just got some free time and it's sooo hot outside that I don't feel like doing anything right now. I just went shopping yesterday and came across some really cool mod 1960's dresses. I couldn't believe that I found them all in one store. Someone apparently donated a lot of items at the same time. Whoever that woman was, she sure had a good sense of style. I have about 2 or 3 big bags of clothing waiting to be photographed. It's been slow online lately and I've been holding off adding new items as a result. Hopefully, things pick back up so I can get this process back up and new items flowing into the shop. Finding good vintage is hard work, but I can't think of anything I enjoy more than searching and then finding the coolest things. Such satisfaction!
