a few pics from the east coast and atlantic ocean

Part of my family came down to visit this past weekend. That included my brother, his best friend, and my aunt. It was really nice to see people I actually know. The only person I really know is Pete and sometimes it feels like we are both in this bizarro world in some far off land. My aunt took us out to eat at nice restaurants! Its nice going to someplace better than wendy's or taco bell (thats all I can afford at the time). I had delicious thai food, portabella and tortellinis, a delicious hamburger with sundried tomatoes on it, and pecan pie, bread pudding...all kinds of delicious things. We also tried to go to (PARIS) Hilton Head Island, but that place was such an abortion with its fancy capitalist businesses (wendy and wal mart looked the same from the outside). We couldnt find the ocean and we drove around Hilton Head Island forever. WE JUST WANT TO GET THE OCEAN! We didnt find the ocean that day, but we went to Simmons Island the next day which is south of Savannah. We went to far out on a sandbar and the tide came in so we got drenched trying to make it to shore (we looked REALLY DUMB). I found LOTS of sand dollars and clam shells. I found neat little shells, but there were HERMIT CRABS inside of them so I couldnt keep them. OH, I also saw ALLIGATORS at this wild life refuge we went to. Its WEIRD seeing them outside of captivity. They were so close and SCARY!
It was fun and nice for a change to get out and do something since ALL I DO IS HOMEWORK! Back to homework again for now.

I have no time to look for fun new items, but luckily Ive saved up quite a few cute midwest finds that I will be adding regularly. Im so stressed out and practically failing my classes even though Im spending sooooo much time and energy on them. Here's a few of the pieces to be added to the shop soon:

New New New

http://www.stephaniebracciano.etsy.com to shop!

It's taken me forever to finally get around to photographing the new items for the shop. My apartment is so small that its hard to set up my studio lights and backdrop with such little free space. We did manage to set everything up and we only got about half the items photographed. I'll be photographing more of the stuff tonight and will be posting new things this week and next. I can't wait to go home so I can visit my favorite thrift stores! Only about a month left till I go back to Michigan for a 2-3 week vacation for Christmas. Yay!
